A body cream is thicker than a lotion, so it gives longer-lasting moisture to dry areas, yet this one absorbs quickly into the skin.

What is the difference between body cream and body lotion?

Body cream is thicker and richer than body lotion, and the Body Cream is made for skin that needs more moisture. Creams have more butters and oils, so they cushion dry skin and last longer, while lotions are lighter and spread more easily over large areas. If your skin is very dry, or you want extra care for elbows, knees and legs, choose the Body Cream. For lighter daily moisture, our Body Lotion is a good match.

Is the Body Cream the same as a body butter?

Not exactly. The Body Cream is made with plant butters, including Illipe, Cocoa, Cupuacu and Mango Butters, so it has the rich, nourishing feel of a body butter. But it is whipped into a cream with Aloe Vera Hydrosol and light oils, so it spreads easily and absorbs faster than a solid body butter, without leaving a heavy layer on the skin. It is a good choice if you love body butter but want something easier to use every day.
