Which bottles does the 8 Oz. Pump fit?

The 8 Oz. Pump is made for our 8 oz oval bottles: the Purple Shampoo, Purple Conditioner, Blonde Hair Shampoo, Blonde Hair Conditioner, and the Sunless Tanning Anti-Aging, Dark Tones and Light to Medium Tones lotions. Use it to replace a pump you lost, broke or forgot to keep. Check the size on the front label of your bottle before ordering. For our 16 oz bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and gel, use our 16 Oz. Pump instead.

How do I open and use the 8 Oz. Pump?

To use the 8 Oz. Pump, remove the cap from your 8 oz bottle, insert the pump and screw it on tightly while holding the neck of the pump. The pump comes locked so it does not leak in shipping. To unlock it, push the pump head down and turn it to the left (counterclockwise), the direction shown by the small arrow on top, until it pops up. Press it a few times to bring the product up, and then it is ready to use.

Do I need to buy the 8 Oz. Pump if I already have one?

No. If you already have an 8 Oz. Pump from an earlier bottle, you can reuse it: clean it and move it to your new bottle. Reusing pumps saves money and helps reduce plastic waste, which matters to us as much as your hair and skin do. If your pump is lost, cracked or no longer works well, or you forgot to keep your old one, simply add a new 8 Oz. Pump to your order.

How do I clean the 8 Oz. Pump before reusing it?

To clean the 8 Oz. Pump before moving it to a new bottle, put the end of the tube in a cup of warm water and press the pump until the water comes out clear. Rinse the outside of the tube, shake off the extra water and let it dry before you put it in the new bottle, so no water gets into your product. If the pump sticks, a few presses in warm water usually loosen it.
