    Hello Janice, yes this is a fairly new product. Our Purple Shampoo uses natural violet pigments with blueberry and blackberry extracts to help neutralize yellow, orange, and brassy tones, is intended for use once or twice weekly, and is sulfate- and paraben-free. It can be used on gray, white, silver, blonde, bleached, salt-and-pepper, natural, and color-treated hair 😊🍃

    Hello Carol, we only carry 1 Purple Shampoo at the moment and have not carried one in the past. Is it possible you are referring to our Gray Hair Shampoo? The Gray Hair Shampoo is designed for regular use to help keep gray, silver, and white hair looking bright, soft, and healthy. It helps improve shine, moisture, and manageability while reducing the appearance of dullness and mild yellowing without depositing any color.

    The Purple Shampoo is a toning shampoo that contains purple to help neutralize stronger yellow or brassy tones. It is best used occasionally when you need extra help with stubborn yellowing or brassiness.
