If you do research you will see that too much keratin causes skin problems like the chicken skin that I have. It looks like tiny bumps (chicken skin) that are heaviest along back of my arms. This lotion works as advertised. When combined with their sugar scrub your skin will feel amazing! The smell is a bit medicinal for my taste but it works too well to give it up. Now if they could only make it smell like the sugar scrub.......

Best Lotion!
Hands down, this is the best lotion I've used that helps combat rough, bumpy skin. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and I'm allergic to most in-store lotions. Also, my legs used to always break out after I shaved. This lotion has completely eliminated that. I've also started using it on my face, and it has cleared up some of my acne. It may not have been intended for face use, but it sure worked for me! I won't be going back to the other products I've used. This is it for me!

happy with this lotion
I have had for fifty years rough and bumpy skin that md.s have never given a diagnostic name to. I am happy with the lotion--at first, it had a very strong mint smell that i did not like, but that has faded to nothing as the bottle has been reopened with daily use. The lotion absorbs slowly but well. I use it in the evening but it might be too thick for out-of-house use in the morning. My skin is less dry and itchy. It is more smooth than before but not smooth smooth. I did stop for a few days because my facial pores started to clog but that was a minor consideration. I will use this lotion steadily as long as JN sells it.
