I must say though I am using this shampoo in conjunction with the treatment spray. You only need a dime sized amount if you have shoulder length hair. It does give a bit of a lathery feel at first, but it's not like ordinary shampoos in where it will strip the hair. My hair feels cleaner and healthier with every wash.
