Getting the perfect tanned skin can be easy if you do it the right way. With the appropriate steps you will help your skin to maintain a sun-kissed glow for days, avoiding that shameful and dangerous lobster effect. 1. Serum / Oil

Applying our Body Nutritive Serum or Indoor Tanning Oil not only accelerates your tanning process but it also provides your skin with full nutrient-rich ingredients from Kukui, Hazelnut, Avocado and more to hydrate, replenish and moisturize your face and body leaving your skin shiny and glowy.

These products are created to accelerate, extend and maintain your tan in between your sun-bathing sessions. They are formulated with hydrating and exotic ingredients that support your skin's healthy function while tanning to produce even, long-lasting and stronger beautiful color.

Apply it all over your skin or as needed. Add a few sprays to your legs, arms, front, and back. Massage in circular motion so that the pores of the skin can easily absorb the tanning solution.

2. Sunblock / Sunscreen

SAFETY: It is important to know that people need different quantities of sunlight depending on their kind of skin, and this should never exceed to the point of a sunburn. Your body must stay hydrated while you tan and sweating should be minimal, in order to achieve the best results in the healthiest way. Our products don’t contain SPF so if you don't know how much sun exposure you can get, use sunscreen and stay aware of your skin's reaction to the sun.

3. Exfoliating

Exfoliation is important to get rid of dead skin and promote skin renewal. Our Turbinado Brown Sugar Body Scrub it’s amazing at removing dead skin without over-drying. Exfoliate in circles, and focus on areas like elbows, knees and feet where most of the dead skin accumulates. Loaded with antioxidants and alpha hydroxy acids, Turbinado brown sugar is the perfect base to revitalize skin and buff away dullness.

4. Moisturizer

Regardless if you exfoliate or not, you must carry a moisturizer every time you tan. Moisturizer keeps your skin cool, soothe, and prevent the tendency of flaking as well as peeling. Furthermore, it can make the tan last longer without causing the skin to dry.

Get a natural healthy sunless tan!

Our Sunless Tanners are unique in the way that they work. They do not contain any artificial color to dye your skin; instead they turn the natural color of your skin into a darker tone. This means that the result looks natural, and can last longer than other products. In order to achieve a perfect color and make it last, your skin should be prepped and you must “play” with the product in order to learn how to use it. Here are some simple steps that we can suggest you take-

Step 1: Exfoliate.

If you know anything about self-tanning, then you already know that it is the most important step to achieving a blotch free and even tan. Find an exfoliator with beads or sugar. Turbinado Brown Sugar Body Scrub is amazing at removing dead skin without over-drying. Exfoliate in circles, and focus on areas like elbows, knees and feet where most of the dead skin accumulates. This is also the areas that tend to get blotchy.

Step 2: Shave.

This step will ensure prolonging the life of your tan. Shaving after using a self-tanner might strip away your tan faster then normal. You can also wax before you start the process. Either way, make sure your skin is prepped for minimal shaving after using our Sunless Tanners.

Step 3: Moisturize and dry.

Although our Sunless Tanners double as moisturizers, you will want to make sure that your skin is already moisturized before you apply them for the first time. This is because after exfoliating and shaving, your skin might be a little dry and it can cause the tanner to go uneven for the first time. Use a light lotion, and wipe away the excess. Once again, make sure your focus on your elbows, knees, hands and feet. Then wait until all the lotion has been completely absorbed into your skin.

Step 4: Apply.

You can use gloves or clean hands if you prefer. Start from the bottom up, from your ankles to your shoulders. Our Self-tanners will not show color right away, so applying it in this way will ensure that you don’t forget where you have already applied the product. Try not to put too much or too little at a time. When you are done, wash your hands with soap. The color will show up within 12 to 24 hours.

Step 5: Maintain.

Once the tan has developed completely after 24 hours, you may reapply the lotion if you wish to achieve a darker tone. This time, do not exfoliate before reapplying. Once you have achieved the tone that you are happy with, you can reapply the lotion once or twice a week to maintain it.
